The Lloyd Noble Center is located off of Jenkins, next to Love’s Field. The LNC holds 11,528, and cost around $6 million. The court inside is below ground level, and features a large and open walkway around the stadium with many pictures and graphics of OU basketball and gymnastics history.
History
The Lloyd Noble Center is home to Oklahoma’s men and women’s basketball team, as well as OU women’s gymnastics. The Lloyd Noble Center, or LNC, opened August 31st, 1975, and has stood as one of the monuments of Oklahoma sports.
Events
The center hosts many sporting events, as well as concerts. The center features concessions for food, drinks and alcohol, as well as halftime shows and mid game performances by OU cheer and spirit squads. There is plenty of parking for students and guests, and students get in events for free with their student ID.
